Twenty-year-old Rachel moves from New York to Los Angeles in order to reinvent herself.


Still attached to classical role models at first, she increasingly comes into conflict with them in her new environment and, in conversations with her new friends, begins to redefine her expectations of life and discover other sides to herself. 
Depressive states and a longing for authenticity play just as much a role as the fear of revealing herself and dreaming of a different self.

This film was created in close collaboration between the director and the actors over a period of two years and a total of 32 days of shooting in Los Angeles and the surrounding area.
